What's included in an Exterior Valet?

 

I start with a thorough snow foam and pre-wash to help loosen dirt and grime from the exterior of your vehicle before making contact with the paintwork.

 

The wheels and tyres are then cleaned before the vehicle receives a careful hand wash. After washing, the vehicle is pressure rinsed and hand dried to leave the exterior clean and presentable.

 

I also clean the exterior glass, wipe the door shuts and apply tyre dressing to finish the valet.

 

The focus is on giving your vehicle a thorough exterior clean while taking care throughout the process to safely clean the different areas of the vehicle.

 

What happens during the valet?

 

I work through the exterior of the vehicle methodically, starting with the pre-wash and snow foam before moving onto the wheels, tyres and main bodywork.

 

Once the hand wash is complete, the vehicle is thoroughly rinsed and hand dried. I then finish the exterior by cleaning the glass, wiping the door shuts and applying tyre dressing.

 

The result is a cleaner, fresher-looking vehicle with the exterior ready to enjoy again.

 

An Exterior Valet is particularly suitable for regular maintenance and vehicles that don't require a full interior clean. If your vehicle needs more attention inside as well, my Full Valet combines both an interior and exterior clean.

The time required can vary starting at 45 minutes depending on the size and condition of the vehicle, but I will always allow enough time to carry out the service properly rather than rushing through the clean.

Yes. Polaris Valeting is fully mobile, and I bring my own water and electricity so I can carry out the Exterior Valet at your home or workplace.

Do I need to be at home?

No. You don't necessarily need to be at home while I work. As long as I have suitable access to the vehicle and an appropriate place to carry out the valet, I can complete the service while you're at work or away.

 

Does the Exterior Valet include paint decontamination?

No. The standard Exterior Valet does not include a full paint decontamination. If your paintwork has embedded contaminants such as iron fallout or tar, Paint Decontamination can be added separately.
